"You have to give all your strength to the person you are saving. The best you can. The whole evacuation is physically and emotionally very demanding," says Yevhen Titarenko, director of the film Eastern Front and a volunteer paramedic in Ukraine, describing what it is like to rescue critically wounded soldiers from combat. He does not know how many people he has saved but like all Ukrainians, he has only one wish - that the war will end as soon as possible.
